The wine : The cuvée Esprit de Blonde embodies all the elegance and finesse of the wines from Côte Blonde, a highly renowned area of the Côte Rôtie appellation. The sixty-year-old vines from this small plot allow for the production of a wine full of charm with a smooth and refined texture. Notes of violet sweep across the palate, accompanied by aromas of red and black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, strawberry, raspberry) as well as spices (pepper, licorice, vanilla, chocolate). A masterful cuvée that will age gracefully over the years, giving you access to a new aromatic register (leather, tobacco, mushroom, etc.). Magical!

The estate : Gaillard is certainly one of the greatest names in the Rhône Valley. Heading four estates (two in the Rhône Valley and two in Languedoc-Roussillon), the historic vineyard of the family is nonetheless that of the Pierre Gaillard estate. With 25 hectares, it covers the most beautiful appellations in the north of the region, notably those of Condrieu and Côte Rôtie. Arriving in 1981, Pascale and Pierre Gaillard now work with their three children and offer wines marked by finesse and elegance that every enthusiast should (re)discover.
