Here, the Gamay expresses itself beautifully to offer a wine of character that is indulgent, structured, fruity, and spicy. On the palate, aromas of black cherry and blackberry blend harmoniously with an elegant floral touch and a very pleasant spicy framework. The tasting is a real pleasure from start to finish and also concludes with a very beautiful length. The estate : At Domaine Philippe Viet, things are done with passion.A former IT consultant, he made a bold career change in 2015 to devote himself to his true passion: wine! Eager to learn from the best, he trained with several renowned winemakers such as Bernard Baudry in the Loire (Chinon), and especially with Éric Janin in Beaujolais. Now based in Villié-Morgon, Philippe cultivates 5 hectares of vines and also purchases grapes from some of his winemaker friends. All his cuvées are produced according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. From AOC Beaujolais-Lantignié to Régnié, including Juliénas and Fleurie, the estate showcases the finest terroirs of Beaujolais for our greatest pleasure.
