The wine : Riserva Ducale Oro represents a benchmark for all Chianti. Created in 1947 to honor the Duke of Aosta, this delicious cuvée, mainly composed of Sangiovese grapes, was aged for 36 months (partly in oak barrels and casks) and is only produced in the best vintages. This bottle reveals all its finesse through elegant notes of cherry, plum, leather, and spices (pepper, cinnamon, licorice). An iconic wine to enjoy now or to let mature in the cellar for many years.

The estate : Ruffino is much more than just a winery; it is a true institution in the Italian wine landscape. Founded in 1877, this house is the oldest in Tuscany. With six estates spread across the region’s most prestigious appellations (Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, etc.), Ruffino has managed to preserve and enhance the Tuscan terroir while adapting to the demands of the international market. The company has built a solid reputation thanks to a range of wines that extends from everyday pleasure products to prestigious cuvées such as Ducale Oro or Modus Primo. Here, each bottle reflects ancestral know-how and a constant quest for excellence. This alchemy is what makes Ruffino a true monument of Italian wine!
