Hériose - Whisky Pineau des Charentes Cask Finish

Keywords : Fruity / Spicy / Generous

The spirit : Immerse yourself in the elegance of French whisky with this delicious Pineau des Charentes Cask Finish from Maison Hériose! This rich whisky stands out thanks to its aging of over two and a half years in former bourbon casks, here completed by a long finish of 18 months in old Pineau des Charentes casks. The result is a generous, fruity, and spicy aromatic profile, evoking notes of cinnamon, orange, walnut, vanilla, plum, candied peach, honey, as well as a very pleasant "pastry" side. The alcohol is exceptionally smooth and blends perfectly with the whole. A true pleasure to be enjoyed both as an aperitif and alongside fine fruity desserts!

Type : Single Malt Whisky

The brand : Hériose is the very latest creation from the centuries-old and renowned Cognac house Boinaud, whose Charles and Rémi represent the 24th generation. Thanks to their magnificent whiskys single malts, the two brothers thus complete their range of cognacs and have the ambition to represent the French art of living and boldness, all  with a relaxed approach. However, a very high level of quality is required: the barley used is 100% French and both spirits are the result of double distillation in Charentais stills. The casks are also meticulously selected thanks to the house's long-standing expertise, and the water used is drawn directly from beneath the distillery.
