The estate : Family estate founded in 1932 by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño, Bodega Muga is today a true emblem of Spanish winemaking, and especially of Rioja. Now owning 250 hectares (and also sourcing from 150 ha of partner winegrowers), the estate is the only one in the country to have its own coopers, allowing it to perfectly master the ageing of its wines by adapting the types of wood and barrel toasting to the personality of each wine.
