The wine : The Fantastique cuvée from Château Sainte-Marguerite is certainly among the great rosés of Provence! Its texture is deliciously smooth yet perfectly balanced by a beautiful liveliness and its aromatic profile develops into a fruitiness of great delicacy expressing subtle citrus notes, peach, pear, apricot but also a floral touch with rose and white flowers. The estate : The Fayard family purchased the Château Sainte-Marguerite on a whim in 1977: the quality of the plant material, the Mediterranean climate as well as the soils mainly composed of weathered clay and schist were a real favorite for Jean-Pierre Fayard and his wife. At the time, with only 11 hectares, this superb Provençal estate now consists of a heritage of 75 hectares of vines. This Cru Classé of Provence has since come a long way and harbors great ambitions. The completion in March 2020 of a superb brand-new winery is proof of this. Certified Organic and Vegan, the estate offers a magnificent high-level range that does honor to Provence: rosés but also reds and whites live up to the ambitions set by the family.
