The wine : Les Champlains blanc from Domaine Decelle et Fils is a magnificent expression of the great potential of the AOC Hautes-Côtes de Beaune terroirs. This delicious Chardonnay brilliantly combines minerality, roundness, and elegance. Aromas of white fruits, citrus, and flint mingle here with a lovely buttery texture as well as a touch of vanilla brought by a very precise oak barrel aging. The balance is particularly successful, between liveliness and indulgence, allowing this cuvée to pair perfectly with grilled fish, seafood, poultry, or fresh cheeses. An elegant and refined Burgundy Chardonnay, ideal for discovering all the freshness and charm of the great white wines of Burgundy !

The estate :  Founded in 2009 by Olivier Decelle (Mas Amiel in Languedoc, Vignoble de Boisseyt in the Rhône, Château Jean-Faure in Saint-Émilion) and Pierre-Jean Villa (famous winemaker from the northern Rhône Valley), the estate was originally called Decelle-Villa.Following his departure in 2020, the business changed its name to Decelle & Fils. Based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the estate now has 7 hectares cultivated organically on the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The twenty or so cuvées produced across the different appellations perfectly express the diversity of character found in Burgundy's terroirs and climates.
