Vermentino / Rolle

You will find on this page all the wines made entirely or partly from the superb southern white grape variety Rolle. Also known as Vermentino in Italy or Vermentinu in Corsica, its origins remain somewhat unclear, although most agree that it is a variety of Italian origin. In any case, this is a type of grape that greatly appreciates the Mediterranean warmth ! Therefore, in addition to the regions mentioned above, it can also be found in Provence or in Languedoc as a secondary grape variety. Its very refined and elegant aromatic profile when well cultivated and vinified makes it a noble grape variety.On tasting, floral aromas (hawthorn, acacia) blend with a beautiful minerality and notes of citrus, peach, apricot, and pear.
