The wine : The Bandol blanc from Domaine Tempier is a delight of complexity! Marked by great minerality, the aromatic profile of this beautiful wine extends over notes of lime, grapefruit, peach, and pear, but also over very spicy and highly fragrant notes such as bay leaf or white pepper. A superb richness that makes this cuvée one of the very best of its appellation! Magical pairings can be made here with shellfish, fish, or even fresh cheeses.

The estate : Aniconic estate of Provence, the Domaine Tempier is one of the pioneers who enabled the creation of the Bandol appellation in 1941. The Peyraud family and Daniel Ravier, the estate's director, get the best out of their 60 hectares, composed of Mourvèdre (over 40 hectares) but also Grenache noir, Cinsault, Carignan, and Syrah. The 5 hectares of white are divided between Clairette (65%), Ugni blanc, Bourboulenc, Marsanne, and Rolle. The estate has an exceptional heritage of very old vines, allowing for the production of three iconic cuvées: La Migoua, La Tourtine, and Cabassaou. Red, but also rosé and white wines here are of impressively consistent quality and deserve the full attention of enthusiasts.
