The wine : Coming from a prestigious terroir (the locality Muehlforst), this beautiful Riesling from Domaine Mittnacht Frères impresses with its complex aromatics revealing a very beautiful fragrance and great elegance. Notes of apricot, peach, and pear blend deliciously with a touch of honey and sweet spices as well as some light petrol notes. On the palate, a coating texture instantly charms us and a long persistence is present for our greatest pleasure. The estate : Located in the village of Hunawihr, between Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr, the Mittnacht Frères estate covers 11 hectares passionately cultivated by Marc, his wife Paule, and their son André, who joined the business in 2021. The vines have been cultivated biodynamically here since 1999 in order to produce terroir wines that are true to their environment. The magnificent winemaking work carried out by the siblings only highlights, year after year, plant material of great quality and constant attention to the vineyard. Purity, elegance, and petrol notes are the common markers of the Rieslings, while excellent Gewurztraminer, Sylvaner, and Pinot Noir are also grown. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!
