The IGP Méditerranée was created in 1999 under the name Portes de la Méditerranée before officially adopting its current name in 2009. Today, it covers 10,500 hectares and extends across 3 regions including, of course, Provence but also Corsica as well as two departments of the Rhône (Ardèche and Drôme). Production is mainly focused on rosé wines (75%), but red wines (15%) and white wines (10%) are also well represented! 85% of the wines produced are blends of several grape varieties, with the main ones for reds being grenache, cabernet sauvignon, merlotand syrah, while the whites are mainly made from rolle, viognier, chardonnay, marsanneand roussanne. The wines produced are highly appreciated for their freshness as well as their delicious and approachable character. These cuvées are the perfect companions for your aperitifs and meals, bringing relaxation and pleasure!
