This Premier Cru "Aux Perdrix" is almost exclusively owned by the Devillard family and is the estate's signature wine. This exceptional Pinot noir, intense and silky, offers a masterful interpretation of this south-facing terroir with its rich clay-limestone soil. The nose and palate display an extraordinary complexity: ripe red and black fruits (cherry, strawberry, blackberry), spices (pepper, cinnamon, vanilla), a hint of violet, and a perfectly integrated noble oak impress. The tannic structure shows beautiful finesse and the length on the palate is simply incredible. To be enjoyed with game birds, a piece of beef or a mushroom-based dish.
