The wine : Discover this delicious Vouvray Brut from Julien Pinon, combining generosity and precision with fine, persistent bubbles. Made using the traditional method from grapes picked at optimal ripeness, this cuvée spends nearly three years ageing on its lees before release. This extended maturation gives the wine genuine depth and adds complexity to its aromatic profile. Beautiful aromas of pear, apple, peach and citrus mingle with more developed notes of honey, hazelnut and toast. On the palate, richness, freshness and tension come together, while the delicate mousse lends the wine considerable elegance. A particularly accomplished Vouvray Brut, equally at home as an aperitif or served with food.

The estate : Reigning over 15 hectares of Chenin certified organic since the 2003 vintage, the Pinon family comes from a long winegrowing tradition, with their connection to the vine dating back to 1786! Julien represents the 8th generation and is now at the head of this benchmark estate in Vouvray. The estate's plots have varied exposures and a large part of the vines are over 40 years old. The whites are vinified in oak barrels on fine lees for 4 to 5 months, while the sparkling wines undergo long aging on laths, allowing for the production of very high-quality cuvées. Intervention is kept to a minimum at every stage of production to remain as close as possible to the terroir. A family offering delicious Chenins that you will love!
