The wine : Here is a lovely organic Chardonnay from Beaujolais, with no added sulfites ! Latest creation from Domaine Cheveau, "Les Pouliches" cuvée expresses notes of citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit), peach, pear, and is built around a beautiful mineral structure. A pure white wine with great precision, which will be ideally enjoyed as an aperitif or alongside salads, seafood, and fish.

The estate : Located in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, the Cheveau estate covers 20 hectares (15 of Chardonnay and 5 of Gamay) spread between Davayé and Saint-Amour.Nicolas, Julien, and Aurélie manage their vineyards with great care, allowing a precise expression of the terroirs in each of their cuvées. The harvest is done by hand and each plot is vinified separately in demi-muids, foudres, or stainless steel tanks. Additives are kept to a minimum so that each bottle is the truest expression of its origin. A great estate offering excellent wines of consistent quality!
