The estate : Winegrower in Listrac since 1756, the Raymond family has owned the Saransot-Dupré estate since 1875. The very pleasant and communicative Yves Raymond (5th generation) has been at the head of this fine Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since the late 1980s. The 17-hectare property is planted 90% with red varieties, mainly Merlot. The soils are clay-limestone and the winemaking is traditional (concrete vats followed by aging in oak barrels with 25 to 30% new barrels each year). Yves Raymond creates elegant, refined wines with great aging potential. A fine quality estate offering wines with excellent value for money!
