The wine: Here is a delicious Cru Bourgeois Supérieur with excellent value for money! This Château Saransot-Dupré cuvée is indeed endowed with an elegant body as well as a very beautiful balance oscillating between strength and elegance.  The palate reveals notes of black fruits (plum, blackberry, cherry), spices (licorice, pepper) and is completed by a beautiful and fine melted woodiness. An excellent wine putting the Listrac-Médoc appellation on the map and can be drunk now or waited a few years in the cellar!

The estate: Winegrowers in Listrac since 1756, the Raymond family owns the Saransot-Dupré estate since 1875. The very pleasant and communicative Yves Raymond (5th generation) has been at the head of this beautiful Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since the end of the 1980s. The 17-hectare property is 90% planted in red and mainly Merlot. The soils are clay-limestone and the vinification is traditional (concrete vats then maturing in oak barrels with a proportion of 25 to 30% new barrels each year). Yves Raymond creates elegant, fine wines with good aging potential. A beautiful quality estate offering wines with excellent value for money!
