The estate : Winemaker in Listrac since 1756, the Raymond family has owned the Saransot-Dupré estate since 1875.The very pleasant and communicative Yves Raymond (5th generation) has been at the helm of this beautiful Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since the late 1980s. The 17-hectare property is planted with 90% red grapes, predominantly Merlot. The soils are clay-limestone, and the traditional vinification process involves concrete vats followed by aging in oak barrels, with 25 to 30% new barrels each year. Yves Raymond creates elegant, refined wines with excellent aging potential. A beautiful quality estate offering wines with an excellent quality-price ratio!
