Buy AOC Côtes-de-Provence wines

The AOC Côtes-de-Provence is THE major appellation of Provence. Spanning over 20,000 hectares and across 3 departments (Var, Bouches-du-Rhône, and Alpes-Maritimes), the vast majority of wines produced here are rosés (92%), but the reds and whites (4% each) are definitely worth it when crafted with precision. The region's geology is varied but mainly evolves on a clay-limestone base although some areas are more schistose and crystalline. The vineyard enjoys significant sunshine and is refreshed by the mistral. The grape varieties Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Tibouren make up the majority of the production in rosé and red.On the white side, Rolle, Clairette, Ugni blanc and Sémillon are the main varieties.
