The Cheveau estate: between Mâconnais and Beaujolais

The Cheveau Estate is a story of passion passed down from generation to generation, from the hamlet of Pouilly.Today, Nicolas, Julien, and Aurélie continue this legacy by cultivating 20 hectares of vines in renowned appellations: Pouilly-Fuissé, Mâcon, Saint-Véran, Bourgogne, as well as Beaujolais-Villages and the Saint-Amour AOC in the Beaujolais. Their presence in these two major terroirs and regions allows them to offer high-level red and white wines, ranging from the complexity of the great Pouilly-Fumé Chardonnays to the indulgentexpression of Gamay.

Wines of character, the result of precise craftsmanship

At Domaine Cheveau, the harvest is done by hand, the approach in the vineyard is plot-based (to highlight the specificities of each terroir), and the winemaking process is very non-interventionist.It is under these essential conditions that here, the Chardonnay expresses itself with finesse, while the Gamay gives rise to charming and fresh red wines. Of course, the very soul of the estate is linked to the sublime Pouilly-Fumé AOC, within which Domaine Cheveau owns a number of outstanding Premier Crus.
