The wine : With a beautiful aromatic power, this Pouilly-Fuissé Les Vignes du Hameau comes from a clay-limestone terroir located in the heart of the hamlet of Pouilly. Aged in oak barrels for 14 months, its profile is resolutely turned towards indulgence with its buttery and vanilla notes wrapped in a very elegant woodiness. Beautiful fruity aromas are also present, mainly featuring peach, pear, and mirabelle, but also a hint of citrus. Perfectly enjoyable in its youth, this cuvée will also positively evolve over 10 years.To pair with a fish in butter sauce or a beautiful cheese platter...a delight!

The estate : Located in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, the Cheveau estate spans 20 hectares (15 of Chardonnay and 5 of Gamay) spread between Davayé and Saint-Amour.Nicolas, Julien, and Aurélie manage their vineyards with great care, allowing for a precise expression of the terroirs in each of their cuvées. The harvest is manual, and each plot is vinified separately in demi-muids, foudres, or stainless steel tanks. Additives are minimized to ensure that each bottle is the truest expression of its origin. A great estate offering excellent wines of consistent quality!

Un Pouilly-Fuissé d'un très...
Un Pouilly-Fuissé d'un très bon clacissime. Tout ce qu'on est en droit d'attendre de cette belle appellation : rondeur et charme du chardonnay avec beaucoup d'élégance et de la longueur. Je recommande !!
