The wine : Formerly called "Au Buchot", this cuvée has recently changed its name to officially recognize its new and well-deserved Premier Cru status within the Pouilly-Fuissé AOC. Offering an excellent balance between finesse and indulgence, this delicious Chardonnay develops delicious fruity aromas (peach, pear, citrus, mirabelle plum) complemented by oak bringing a beautiful roundness buttery as well as a delightful touch of vanilla. The whole is highlighted by a fine mineral structure. Enjoyable now, this great Burgundy wine can evolve positively for over 10 years. A true delight full of finesse for enthusiasts!

The estate : Located in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, the Cheveau estate covers 20 hectares (15 of Chardonnay and 5 of Gamay) spread between Davayé and Saint-Amour. Nicolas, Julien, and Aurélie tend their vines with great care, allowing a precise expression of the terroirs in each of their cuvées. The harvest is manual and each plot is vinified separately in demi-muids, foudres, or stainless steel tanks. Additives are kept to a minimum so that each bottle is the truest expression of its origin. A great estate offering excellent wines of consistent quality!
