Exceptional vintage Armagnacs

The Baron Gaston Legrand house is particularly renowned for its superb collection of vintage Armagnacs, true witnesses of time and Gascon expertise. Unlike many spirits made from blends of different years, a vintage Armagnac expresses the unique character of a specific year. This approach allows enthusiasts to discover rare bottles, sought after both for tasting and as a gift.

Gaston Legrand Armagnacs come mainly from Bas-Armagnac. However, certain cuvées may also come from Ténarèze, another historic terroir of the appellation. After distillation, the eaux-de-vie continue their aging for many years in oak barrels, gradually developing a remarkable aromatic richness.

Armagnac: a rich and complex aromatic profile

The Armagnacs Baron Gaston Legrand reveal a great diversity of aromas. Notes of vanilla, candied fruits, mild spices, cocoa, and fine wood blend harmoniously to offer a full, elegant palate with a beautiful length. Older Armagnacs, meanwhile, develop deeper nuances of rancio, dried fruits, and leather that appeal to lovers of characterful spirits.

Each bottle from the house offers a true tasting experience, whether it is to celebrate a birthday with a vintage Armagnac or to enrich a collection of great French spirits.
