The house indeed offers us a gourmet and accessible spirit with a deliciously creamy substance. The peat expressed here in this beautiful bottle is far from the usual tastes and distills a magnificent freshness evolving on very pleasant menthol notes as well as a ashen tip. The spices are also there with a touch of pepper with an exotic resonance in the finish. Finally, fruity aromas of mango and pineapple mix with an exquisite floral touch. The brand: Heriose is the very recent creation of the centuries-old and renowned Cognac house Boinaud of which Charles and Rémi represent the 24th generation. Thanks to their two magnificent single malt whiskies, the two brothers complete their range of cognacs and have the ambition to represent the French art of living and daring, while uninhibited. A very high level of requirements is nevertheless required: the barley used is 100% French and the two spirits come from double distillation in Charentais stills. The barrels are also carefully selected thanks to the house's long expertise and the water used is drawn directly from the distillery. Newcomers who are still making waves in the world of whisky!
