Philippe Viet is a young, passionate producer who has been established since 2019 in Villié-Morgon, in the heart of Beaujolais, an iconic wine region of France. On 5 hectares cultivated organically, Philippe crafts expressive, precise, and elegant wines that respect the terroir and the region’s signature grape variety: Gamay. The cuvées come from the AOC Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages as well as several prestigious crus such as Juliénas, Régnié, Morgon and Fleurie, offering a beautiful range of profiles, from young-drinking red wines indulgent to more structured wines suitable for aging.

Although it is relatively young, the Philippe Viet estate is fully part of the great winemaking tradition of the Beaujolais region, renowned for its fruity red wines and its conviviality. Since its beginnings, Philippe Viet has forged his own path, balancing respect for the terroir, commitment to sustainable viticulture, and a pursuit of precision in winemaking. Located in the commune of Villié-Morgon, considered the birthplace of natural wine, Philippe draws inspiration from iconic figures such as Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet, and Georges Descombes, who have profoundly influenced the history of Beaujolais.
The Philippe Viet estate cultivates its own vines and also purchases a small amount of grapes through highly selective sourcing, following a committed artisanal approach. Through his cuvées, especially those from crus such as Régnié or Juliénas, he offers a sensitive and vibrant interpretation of the local AOCs. No embellishment, no artifice: just grapes, hard work, and a palpable passion in every bottle.
