Château Leydet-Valentin

Château Leydet-Valentin has been owned by the Leydet family since 1973. The siblings had previously already acquired another prestigious property: Château de Valois, located in the Pomerol appellation. Today, Frédéric Leydet carefully manages the 16 hectares of the estate, which has held the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC since 1983. Merlot makes up the majority of the vineyard, which is cultivated using organic farming methods, accompanied by Cabernet Franc and a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines produced are of great finesse and display much delicacy. They are enjoyable from a young age while also offering excellent aging potential. A very reliable value from Saint-Émilion that you absolutely must discover!
