Purchase AOC Bandol wines

Created in 1941, the AOC Bandol is spread over 1,500 hectares to the east of Marseille, on the Mediterranean coast in the heart of Provence. A true natural amphitheater, the appellation is structured in restanques (terraces) shaped by generations of winemakers who have succeeded one another. The soils are mainly silico-limestone and the area enjoys an impressive 3,000 hours of sunshine per year, allowing for a great expression of richness and complexity in the wines.For the red and rosé wines, Mourvèdre is the emblematic grape variety and can be complemented by Grenache and Cinsault. In white, Clairette, Ugni Blanc and Bourboulenc are the main grape varieties and can be blended with Sauvignon, Marsanne, Rolle and Sémillon. The Domaine Tempier presented here is a historic estate of the region, at the very foundation of the AOC's creation. Its wines are impressively precise and deep and should not be missed under any circumstances!
