Purchase AOC Palette wines

A very small appellation of 50 hectares located in Provence, Palette extends to the foot of the Sainte -Victoire, north of Marseille. The climate here is very Mediterranean and sunny while the stony and limestone soils allow excellent water regulation. The grape varieties that can be used are numerous: grenache, mourvèdre and cinsault represent the main ones in red while clairette, grenache blanc and bourboulenc are mostly in white. Superb rosé wines that are quite racy can also be produced. The aging potential is generally excellent and many cuvées only reveal themselves after several years spent in the cellar. The Château Simone presented here constitutes the qualitative pinnacle of the appellation, particularly for its whites but also its reds and rosés, complex, powerful and adored by connoisseurs.
