Chenin

Originally from Anjou where its presence dates back to the 9th century (some sources even trace it back to the 6th century) under the name Plant d'Anjou, this incredible variety can do it all: dry, off-dry, sweet and even sparkling wines! It is the flagship of the Loire region and can be found, for example, in appellations such as Vouvray, Savennières, Saumur or even Coteaux du Layon where it expresses itself beautifully.
