The wine : Modus Primo by Ruffino is an exceptional Super Tuscan made from a wonderful blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet-sauvignon grapes. The magnificent terroirs of the Poggio Casciano estate, located on picturesque hills near Florence, are highlighted here. This great wine is distinguished by its intense aromas of ripe dark fruits (blackberry, plum, cherry), subtly enhanced by elegant notes of noble wood and spices (rose, potpourri, coffee, clove, pepper, licorice).On the palate, the Modus Primo offers a generous and complex structure, with precise tannins leading to a brilliant finish.
