Vignobles Brumont

Alain Brumont is an absolute reference in the  South-West and particularly in the Madiran AOC and Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh. In 40 years, he has propelled his two iconic estates, Châteaux Montus and Bouscassé, to the top of their appellations and region. Yet, the challenge was far from won! Inheriting the family's 17 hectares of Château Bouscassé in 1979, this great wine gentleman had only one obsession from then on: to prove to the world that the terroirs of Madiran can also produce great wines. The first vintages and immediate success only reinforced his disruptive, quality-focused vision. Since 2018, Alain has now ensured the transition of Vignobles Brumont to his son-in-law Antoine Veiry.Always supported by his father-in-law, he continues to enhance the Tannat, Petit Courbu and Petit Manseng varietals. While the magical great wines for aging remain the very DNA of the estates, the range has now expanded to offer more accessible cuvées, without ever straying from the principles that have made the house successful.
