The identity of Neisson is based on a philosophy where the expression of the Martinican terroir holds a central place. Based in Carbet, the company exclusively produces agricole tradition rums under Martinique AOC, made from pure sugarcane juice rather than molasses. This approach helps to better preserve the freshness and natural identity of the raw material.
The distillery is also recognized for its constant pursuit of quality and its particularly meticulous work at every stage of production: cane selection, fermentation, distillation, and aging of rums. Neisson is also among the pioneering players on the island in a more environmentally friendly approach, with several products from organic farming.
This high standard is directly reflected in the style of Neisson rums. The house's cuvées are indeed often appreciated for their great aromatic purity, their freshness and balance, with profiles where vegetal, fruity, and spicy aromas are expressed with great precision without masking the influence of the terroir and sugarcane.

Neisson white rums are among the most sought-after references by agricole rum enthusiasts. The house notably offers Le Rhum Blanc by Neisson 52.5% and Neisson Blanc 55%, two complementary cuvées but with different styles.
Le Rhum blanc 52.5% stands out for a refined, expressive, and fragrant profile, with aromas of fresh cane, citrus, flowers, and delicate spices. It can be enjoyed neat, but also works very well in a ti-punch.
Le Rhum blanc 55% offers a more intense and structured expression, with greater power on the palate. More pronounced by fresh cane, citrus, and a slight touch of honey or licorice, it will appeal to those seeking a white rum that is more direct and energetic.
Profil 62 is one of the brand's iconic cuvées. This agricole amber rum is aged in wood and owes its identity to precise work on the oak barrels and their toasting.
It generally develops a balanced profile, between woody notes, sweet spices, ripe fruits, and vanilla. It is a very fine introduction to the brand's universe.
Profil 105 continues this approach of experimentation with wood and barrel toasting. More powerful than Profil 62, it places greater emphasis on aromatic richness, with flavors of ripe fruits, spices, vanilla, and sometimes a more exotic touch.
Its higher alcohol content also brings depth and a remarkable presence during tasting.
Profil 107 follows in the footsteps of Profil 105, with specific work on new barrels and particular toasting methods.
This cuvée generally offers a profile marked by tropical fruits, caramel, vanilla, spices, and toasted wood. Its structure and richness make it a rum of character, appreciated by enthusiasts of more intense profiles.
Within the permanent range, Le Rhum Vieux by Neisson represents one of the essential references of the Martinican house. Produced from agricole rum from Martinique, it benefits from a prolonged aging in oak barrels, allowing the distillate to gain in complexity while preserving the unique identity of the distillery.
Where Neisson's white or amber rums highlight the freshness of sugarcane and vegetal notes, this aged rum develops a broader and more harmonious expression. On the nose, notes of vanilla, mild spices, ripe fruits, dried fruits, and delicately toasted wood appear. On the palate, the ensemble retains a beautiful freshness and a particularly balanced profile, characteristic of the Neisson style.
It should be noted that there are also two other aged rum references at Neisson: Rhum XO by Neisson and Rhum XO Full Proof.
Beyond its white rums, the Profil range, and its aged rums, Neisson also offers several creations that perfectly illustrate Martinican tradition and the expertise of the house. Some cuvées, for example, explore approaches based on organic farming, others focus on a particular vintage or even on aging. The house also offers more exclusive editions or specific bottlings sought after by connoisseurs.
Finally, note the latest addition to the range, Soubwa rum ("sous bois" or under wood), aged up to 25 months in oak barrels. This maturation allows for greater complexity while preserving the characteristic freshness of sugarcane.On the nose as well as on the palate, notes of roasted coffee, toasted cocoa, caramel, and ripe fruits appear.
In the world of agricole rum, Neisson is regularly compared to other major references such as HSE, Clément, Depaz, Dillon, La Favorite, Bologne, or even Saint James. Although all these houses produce Martinique AOC rums (with the exception of Bologne, located in Guadeloupe), each develops a very distinct aromatic identity.
Houses like HSE or Clément are often recognized for their significant work on barrels and their more indulgent profiles, where woody, vanilla, or spicy notes play an important role, especially in aged rums.
Depaz, thanks to its terroir located at the foot of Mount Pelée, frequently develops rums that are fuller and more generous.
La Favorite, which maintains a very artisanal production with historic steam mills, is appreciated for profiles that are often more rustic and marked by fresh cane.
Bologne, in Guadeloupe, stands out for its use of different varieties of sugar cane and for rums that regularly display a strong vegetal and spicy character.
Finally, Dillon generally offers more accessible and straightforward profiles.
