The spirit : Le Rhum Vieux par Neisson (The Old Rum by Neisson) is a delicious blend of agricole rums aged between 3 and 9 years in French oak barrels as well as in former bourbon casks. On the nose as on the palate, a great aromatic intensity emerges:  woody and spicy notes (oak, vanilla, pepper, clove) blend very harmoniously with aromas of apricot, stewed white fruits, pineapple, honey, and sugarcane. A delicate floral touch crowns the great richness of this rum. The finish is all about freshness, with vegetal notes of sugarcane. A magnificent old agricole rum for connoisseurs !
