Find on this page all the wines made entirely or in part from the Grenache noir grape variety. Originally from Spain(probably Catalonia) where it is called Garnacha or Garnatxa, the latter crossed the French border in the 15th century and is today well very cultivated throughout the Mediterranean basin but also internationally. It is thus found very present in the southern Rhône Valley in appellations such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône but also in Provence where it makes it possible in particular to produce red wines but also wines rosés, often blended with Syrah and Cinsault. Finally, it is also very present in Languedoc-Roussillon, particularly in AOCs such as Terrasses du Larzac, Minervois, Pic-Saint-Loup or Maury where it makes sublime natural sweet wines. On the palate, it is relatively low in tannin, offers a beautiful roundness (it has great alcoholic potential), gourmet red and black fruit aromas as well as spicy notes .
