Founded in 1508, the Plou & Fils estate has a very long family wine tradition. Located along the Loire near Amboise, the house is today managed by the brothers Mathieu and Guillaume Plou , accompanied by their nephew and Second Chai Émile Coddens , a fervent defender of the democratization of wine that you must have probably seen on social networks! The 108 hectares are planted with multiple grape varieties such as Malbec (Côt), Gamay and Cabernet-franc for reds and rosés while Chardonnay , Chenin and Sauvignon make it possible to produce a beautiful diversity of white and sparkling wines. The vineyard is HVE 3 certified and part of it is managed according to the precepts of organic farming. The vinifications are minimally interventionist and the use of sulphites at the estate is always reduced to a minimum or even zero for certain vintages.
