The wine : Here is a wonderful discovery: this Minervois "Les Traverses" from Domaine Courbissac! Beautifully balanced, the nose and palate develop aromas of morello cherry, strawberry, raspberry but also black olive, pepper, and thyme. The whole is therefore expressive and beautifully perfumed while being supported by a lovely freshness that brings out a limestone minerality.An excellent vintage providing a  great pleasure during tasting while maintaining an outstanding quality-price ratio!

The estate : Reinhard Brundig buys the Courbissac estate in 2002 on a whim for this isolated place lost in the middle of the garrigue. The construction is slow: he has to renovate the cellar, purchase the first large casks for aging, and vinify the different plots of a place that does not easily yield to mastery! In 2013, Reinhard sought to renew his style: he wanted fresher, more elegant wines, and it was in November 2013 that he met Brunnhilde Claux. She then took over the technical side and implemented gentle whole-cluster vinification: the aging process became more precise, the wines softened, relaxed, and a new chapter began for the estate with its 17 hectares cultivated using organic farming. Since then, the same guiding principle has been applied and the duo has partnered to reveal the noble terroir of the region. Discover this beautiful estate whose cuvées will bring you great pleasure!
