The wine : Here is a Bordeaux white wine as we would like to come across more often in the region! Composed in  equal parts of Sémillon and Sauvignon with a touch of Muscadelle, this indulgent bottle reveals itself with  beautiful maturity on the palate with delicious fruity notes and floral notes of peach, apricot, and honeysuckle. These combine perfectly with the delightful touch of vanilla brought by barrel aging, also giving a beautiful roundness to the whole. An excellent value for money proving that in Bordeaux, good wines are not only red!

The estate : Viticulturist in Listrac since 1756, the Raymond family has owned the Saransot-Dupré estate since 1875. The very pleasant and communicative Yves Raymond (5th generation) has been at the head of this beautiful Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since the late 1980s. The 17-hectare estate is planted 90% with red varieties, mainly Merlot. The soils are clay-limestone and the winemaking is traditional (concrete vats followed by aging in barrels with a proportion of 25 to 30% new barrels). Yves Raymond creates elegant, refined wines with excellent aging potential. A beautiful quality estate offering wines with an excellent quality-price ratio!
