The wine: This delicious Margaux from Château Mille Roses is a wine that perfectly embodies its appellation. Its aromatic evolves into beautiful aromas of ripe fruit (cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, plum) underlined by fine oaky and spicy notes. The tannins here are delicate and melted and envelop this vintage which is both elegant and gourmand. The estate: Created in 1999 by Sophie and David Faure, the Château Mille Roses has 9.5 hectares cultivated organically since 2010. Cabernet-Sauvignon remains the majority on the farm and is accompanied by Merlot as well as a plot of Petit Verdot. The aging takes place in oak barrels and are carried out in order to emphasize and not dominate the fruit. The farm's very high-quality terroir is mainly composed of gravel and sand. The property also has very prestigious neighbors, its vines being surrounded by those of Châteaux Giscours and Cantemerle, both Grands Crus Classés.
