The wine : This cuvée in AOC Haut-Médoc from Château Mille Roses offers a beautiful aromatic richness and pairs wonderfully with poultry and red meats. Notes of red and black fruits (raspberry, blackberry, cherry, blackcurrant) blend here with a lovely spicy structure (pepper, cedar, vanilla, licorice) and presents a whole with dense yet silky tannins. A fine wine that can be enjoyed now but also allows cellaring for 10 years without any problem.

The estate : Created in 1999 by Sophie and David Faure, the Château Mille Roses has 9.5 hectares cultivated organically since 2010. Cabernet Sauvignon remains predominant on the estate and is accompanied by Merlot as well as a plot of Petit Verdot. The aging is done in oak barrels and is carried out to highlight and not overpower the fruit. The estate’s very high-quality terroir is mainly composed of gravel and sand. The property also has very prestigious neighbors, its vines being surrounded by those of Châteaux Giscours and Cantemerle, both Grands Crus Classés. A high-quality estate to discover, offering delicious wines in AOC Margaux and Haut-Médoc!
