The wine : The Laudet family offers us with its Sables fauves cuvée a lovely aromatic white wine at a superb quality-price ratio ! Evolving on notes of yellow fruits (mirabelle plum), this sexy wine also develops succulent aromas of peach, apricot, and citrus, as well as an exotic touch (mango). A beautiful bottle that stands on its own as an aperitif but can also accompany you at the table thanks to its delicate enveloping texture. Very seductive !

The estate: Purchased in 1820 by Jean-Dominique Laudet, Château Laballe was initially known for its excellent production of Armagnacs.Nevertheless, a few generations later, the estate opened up to the world of wine thanks to Noël Laudet in the 1970s. The vineyard now covers 17 hectares and has been managed since 2007 by the 8th generation, embodied by Cyril, accompanied by his wife Julie. The terroir here is very atypical, and the vines delve into what are called the "fawn sands", well known in Bas-Armagnac where they are the preferred soils. The estate was the first to produce wines on this terroir, bringing minerality and freshness to the wines and spirits produced. A lovely estate steeped in history that is an absolute must-discover!

Un petit blanc très sympa et à un tarif tout doux. Notes de pêche, abricot, beau parfum et bel équilibre !
