The wine: The great wine of Château Haut-Bergeron is a marvel rising to the level of the best Crus Classés from the Sauternes appellation. Chiselled and endowed with a superb aromatic evolving on candied orange, roasted pineapple and ripe mango, this cuvée also reveals a beautiful buttery substance as well as sweet and charming notes. spicy notes (cinnamon, nutmeg). Gourmet, complex and superb balance!

The estate: Château Haut-Bergeron is a family property for 9 generations (the first written records date back to 1756) belonging to the Lamothe family. With 47 hectares mainly made up of Sauvignon and Sémillon, the estate is a reference in the AOC Sauternes. Counting the Suduiraut and Yquem castles as illustrious neighbors, Haut-Bergeron easily rises to the level of many classified growths in the region in terms of quality while remaining accessible in price. The family can be proud of its heritage of old vines which it vinifies with great care and with great regularity. A gem to absolutely discover!
