Find on this page all the wines and champagnes made entirely or partly from the Pinot Meunier grape variety. A black grape variety very present in Champagne, it is the second most planted variety in the region (32%) after Pinot Noir and before Chardonnay. Still today remaining in the shadow of the latter, it nevertheless expresses beautiful fruity aromas and indulgents that balance the vinous power of pinot noir and the minerality as well as the freshness of chardonnay. Thus, even if it is less highlighted on the labels of producers, it remains nonetheless essential to the complexity of the vast majority of our champagnes. It can also be used in traditional winemaking to produce reds under AOC Coteaux Champenois.
