The IGT Puglia is a protected geographical indication covering the entire region of Puglia, in the southeast of Italy. It covers more than 8,000 hectares, producing 80% red wines and 20% white wines. The main grape varieties are Negroamaro, Primitivo, Nero di Troia, and Bombino nero for red, while Bianco d'Alessano, Verdeca, and Fiano represent the majority of white production. The climate here is decidedly warm and sunny, producing wines typical of southern Italy, full of warmth, richness, and pleasure!
