IGT Puglia is a protected geographical indication covering the entire region of Puglia, in the southeast of Italy. It encompasses more than 8,000 hectares, producing 80% red wines and 20% white wines. The main grape varieties are Negroamaro, Primitivo, Nero di Troia, and Bombino Nero for reds, while Bianco d'Alessano, Verdeca, and Fiano make up the majority of white wine production. The climate here is distinctly warm and sunny, resulting in wines that are typical of southern Italy—full of character, richness, and enjoyment!
