The AOC Hautes-Côtes de Beaune may well be the great terroir of tomorrow thanks to the altitude of its vineyards (between 250m and 400m), which allows the freshness of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown here to be preserved. Spanning over 830 hectares (80% Pinot Noir) and developing on clay-limestone soils with a strong presence of marl, the appellation produces red winesfull of freshness and expressing a beautiful elegant fruitiness, while its white wines have a lovely acidity that gives great depth to their aromatic profile.
