Founded in 1508, the Plou & Fils estate  has a very long family winemaking tradition. Located along the Loire near Amboise, the house is now run by brothers Mathieu and Guillaume Plou, accompanied by their nephew and Second de Chai Émile Coddens, a fervent advocate for the democratization of wine whom you have surely seen on social media! The 108 hectares are planted with multiple grape varieties such as Malbec (Côt), Gamay, and Cabernet Franc for the reds and rosés, while Chardonnay, Chenin, and Sauvignon allow for a beautiful diversity of white and sparkling wines.The vineyard is certified HVE 3 and part of it is managed according to the principles of organic farming. The vinifications are minimally interventionist and the use of sulfites at the estate is always reduced to a minimum, if not zero for certain cuvées.
