Purchase of AOC Anjou and Anjou-Villages wines

Located mainly to the south of the city of Angers, AOC Anjou produces red and white wines on approximately 2,500 hectares. The soils are schistose and calcareous (presence of tuffeau) and the climate of the area is oceanic but experiences little precipitation year-round. The king grape variety in white is chenin (supplemented with a maximum of 20% of chardonnay and sauvignon) as well as cabernet-franc and cabernet-sauvignon in red (supplemented with a maximum of 30% of pineau d'Aunis, grolleau and gamay). The wines of the region are therefore very varied but often express a beautiful fruitiness drinkable and seductive for the reds while the whites present concentrated and lively mouths with fruity and floral aromas. The Ogereau estate is a perfect example of the best in the region!
