In 1946, Albert Baron, a descendant of a long line of winemakers, founded his own Champagne house together with his wife Béatrice. A few decades later, it was only natural that they, in turn, handed over the reins of the estate they had created to their children Gervais, Gilbert, and Claude. Finally, these three passed on their shared legacy to Claude’s three daughters: Lise, Aline, and Claire. The estate has thus seen three generations and has grown considerably, expanding from barely 1 hectare to 55 hectares. Today, the three sisters each have their own role in the family business, but all important decisions are made collectively. Their goal: to create high-quality champagnes while respecting their terroir as much as possible. They have therefore invested heavily in acquiring a state-of-the-art vat room, enabling them to create festive sparkling wines with excellent value for money!
