Buy AOC Pic Saint Loup wines

The AOC Pic Saint Loup is probably one of the most beautiful and renowned in the entire Languedoc-Roussillon region. It spans 1,300 hectares and primarily produces red wines (85%) as well as some rosés (15%). The soils are clay-limestone and the majority of the vineyard is planted around 150m altitude. This location allows the area to experience significant temperature variations between day and night, slowing down the ripening of the grapes and thus preserving the freshness in the cuvées. The grape varieties syrah, grenache, and mourvèdre must make up at least 90% of the red wines and 70% of the rosés. The cuvées of the appellation generally present notes of red and black fruits, magnificent spices as well as a beautiful structure allowing for good aging over time. Let the Domaine La Chouette du Chai transport you to this superb terroir!
