Domaine Jolivet

Nestled on the heights of Saint-Jean-de-Muzols, in the heart of the northern Rhône Valley, Domaine Jolivet stands out as one of the most promising faces of the Saint-Joseph appellation. After gaining experience in Burgundy, abroad, and alongside the iconic winemaker Stéphane Montez, Bastien Jolivet took over the family vineyards in 2014 to create his own wines. The vineyard covers 11 hectares (8 in red and 3 in white), growing on steep granite slopes. Here, the harvest is done by hand and the wines are aged in used barrels and demi-muids to preserve the purity of the fruit. The estate’s red wines, 100% Syrah, combine finesse, structure, and elegance, while the Saint-Joseph whites, made from Marsanne and Roussanne, captivate with their balance between richness and freshness.
