AOC Saint-Joseph

The Saint-Joseph AOC is one of the most renowned appellations of the Rhône Valley. Starting just below Condrieu and stretching over 1,400 hectares in length on the right bank of the Rhône, its vineyard is made up of steep terraces with predominantly granite soils. 90% of the production is dedicated to red wines , made from Syrah (with up to 10% of white grape varieties also permitted), while the remaining 10% are white wines made from the Roussanne and Marsanne varieties. The climate is both continental and Mediterranean, resulting in beautifully balanced cuvées produced by the region’s winemakers.The reds are often deep, intense, and velvety, while the white wines offer great indulgence and richness. A truly outstanding French appellation!
