Mainly known for its fine production of Armagnacs, the Château Laballe nevertheless began producing wine in the 1970s. Covering today 17 hectares and run since 2007 by Cyril Laudet (the 8th family generation) and his wife Julie, the property produces quality cuvées with excellent value for money. The terroir here is sandy, typical of the soils of Bas-Armagnac and many grape varieties coexist within the vineyard such as Gros manseng, Petit Manseng , Colombard, Sauvignonor even Ugni blanc for white wines.
