The wine: The Laudet family offers us with its vintage Sables fauves a very pretty white aromatic at superb value for money! Evolving with notes of yellow fruits (mirabelle plum), this beautiful wine also develops succulent aromas of peach, apricot and citrus fruits as well as a gourmet exotic touch (mango). A beautiful vintage that is sufficient in itself as an aperitif but which can accompany you very well at the table thanks to its delicate enveloping texture. Gourmet and 100% pleasure!

The estate: Bought in 1820 by Jean-Dominique Laudet, Château Laballe was initially best known for its very fine production of Armagnacs. However, a few generations later, the estate opened up to the world of wine thanks to Noël Laudet in the 1970s. The vineyard now covers 17 hectares and has been managed since 2007 by the 8th generation, played by Cyril, accompanied by his wife Julie. The terroir here is very atypical and the vines are immersed in what we call "tawny sands", well known in Bas-Armagnac where they are the preferred soils. The estate was the first to produce wines on this terroir, bringing minerality and freshness to the wines and spirits produced. A lovely farm steeped in history that you absolutely must discover!
