AOC Cornas

Created in 1938 and located in the northern Rhône Valley, the Cornas AOC covers more than 150 hectares situated on the right bank of the Rhône and exclusively planted with  Syrah. Its terroir is characterized by steep slopes composed of  granite, offering an exposure that promotes optimal ripening of the grapes. The wines of Cornas are renowned for their  power, their depth, as well as their long aging potential. The appellation probably produces the sunniest and most generous Syrah wines of the Rhône region.
